There are more then 25,000 prostitutes in Nepal and the negligible percentage of them are in this business because of their will to fulfill their sexual desire and earn the lump-sum in short period. Majority of them are forced to do so, some of them are forced by other people who claim right on them and others are forced by their own stomach.

As per Sarita (name changed) in a day she fulfill the sexual desire of 6 to 10 man on average. she told me that she slept with more then 20 men in a day when there are less girls in the message center.

As i interviewed many of the girls working in the massage center in Thamel, Kathmandu, i got to know that they charge Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000 per sex, depending on the condition of the room and the nature of the client. Of the money charged 60 to 80 percentage goes to the owner of the massage center and the rest to the girl.
